Content Marketing Manager

Fabric is growing rapidly and our audience of new parents is always looking for ways to improve their families’ lives. If you’re excited about personal finance education and helping parents become the best version of their parent-selves, you’re in the right place. In this role, you’ll work closely with our CMO, design, and engineering teams to manage our editorial presence on the Fabric Blog, email newsletters, social media channels, and elsewhere. You’ll be a talented writer and editor with experience creating high-quality, informative content that converts. We have a data-driven culture, and the ideal candidate will be excited about tracking and measuring the impact of their work. Experience building and managing a team of independent writers, photographers, and creatives is a must!

What you will do:

  • Manage all aspects of the Fabric Blog, from creating the editorial calendar to hiring and managing contributors, to writing articles and editing contributors’ work.

  • Collaborate with design and engineering to create and publish custom content across channels (blog, social, content partners).

  • Find audiences for our content through partnerships and distribution.

  • Use data to continue optimizing our content strategy to drive traffic that converts.

  • Write copy and edit content across customer touch points, including our marketing site, products, lifecycle emails, and ads.

  • Track KPIs to measure content performance.

What you will bring:

  • Organized, independent self-starter not afraid of diving into complex problems.

  • Awareness of trends and culture and a knack for building a narrative.

  • Strong background in on- and off-page SEO and link-building.

  • Expert Google Analytics skills. Experience using ahrefs/Moz to identify relevant high-volume topics and keywords that we should target.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in journalism or content creation at a startup.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of grammar and confidence in one’s personal writing style.
